The 1600 amps this unit delivers are enough to jump start most commercial vehicles out there, and its powerful compressor inflates tires quickly.
You can easily recharge your smartphone and other gadgets with its 4 USB ports. While these are not quick charge rated, they still get the job done.
Honestly, just with the jump starter, tire inflator and USB ports, this unit would have it all, but the power inverter comes very handy to complete the circle and power small appliances like lamps, fans and others.
The biggest downside we found for this unit is the lack of a 12V DC output as well as a USB-C port or at least a USB QC rated port.
There are two reasons to consider these as downsides.
First: This is advertised as a power station, so a 12V DC output and USB-C should be here.
Second: DC outputs are often used to power up tire inflators, which in this case you don’t need that, yet a simple portable vacuum cleaner is useless with this unit.
All in all, the price you pay for all you get still make this not only a powerful but also a reliable unit, and that is why only on Amazon, DeWalt sold over 1000 units of this model

Care and maintenance
The DeWalt 1600 amp digital power station uses an internal Lead Acid battery to work. These batteries drain a lot faster than lithium-ion ones and thus require more frequent charging.
Depending on how often you use it, you want to check its charge every 2 weeks to every month. The internal battery charge time is close to 10 hours when fully depleted
Note: DeWalt manual says that before using this charger for the first time, the unit needs a 40 hours charge time or until the LED screen shows a full battery before the first use.
