HOW TO USE THE gbX155 noco – easy and intuitive
Here some comments you want to remember when using this unit.
- After the clams are connected to the right battery terminal, push the On button.
- You should see a the Charge LEDs chasing and the BOOST LED turning solid white.
- This indicates you can start your car.
Yet if things are not this straight forward, here are some tips about what you can do.
ERROR OR PROTECTION LEDS ARE ON
The image above shows a summary of the potential causes why each LED is on or blinking, yet it is a good idea to check the manual and specification sheet (included after this section) to exactly know what is going on.
Yet most common problem is a reversed connection, so ensure the connection is right and check again.

This is another typical scenario where the car’s battery is so discharged that the booster does not detect it, and it is very common. For this you’ll have to use the manual override function.
Here is what you have to do:
- Remember that manual override disables all protections, so if clamps touch each other sparks will be produced and a reversed connection could damage your car.
- Ensure the clamps are attached correctly, that is, the red to the positive terminal of your battery and the black to the negative one.
- Press and hold the manual override button❗️for 3 seconds until the chasing pattern appears and the BOOST LED blinks white.
- Start your car.
