ADVANTAGES of owning the gb150 boost pro
3,000 Amps: This amount of current jump starts almost anything. Even some semi trucks start with this booster. Of course that if you have a 4, 6, and even an 8 cylinder gasoline car, it will not be a problem for this booster pack.
Low-Cost: The price of the GB150 could seem high at a 1st glance, but when you consider all the power you get, and understand this is backed up by Noco, the leading brand in the market, you realize this is a premium item at a very affordable price.
Dependable: This is a jump starter you can’t trust it will work when you need it to work? Not only Noco has over 100 years in the industry, but the tens of thousands of reviews online confirm this is a product you can rely on.
Force Start Button: If a battery is heavily discharged, the manual override function will force power to the battery. Just remember this function disables the safety features, so be extra careful when using it.
Gadgets charger: Don’t let your phone die while on the road. The GB150 has a USB-A port to charge all your small electronics.
12V/15A power supply: This out port powers tire inflators and other gadgets that will help you get out of an emergency should you have it.
Built-in Voltmeter: This will clearly display the voltage of your battery. No guesswork, if it reads less than 2V, then for sure you need to use the manual override function.
XGC Adapter compatible: While the XGC fast charger adapter is sold separately, it is totally worth it. This unit will get fully charged in less than 3 hours with the XGC adapter.
80 jumps on a row: Bottom line is you can get several jumps on a row. Depending on the size of the engines, the ambient temperature and the condition of the oil, you’ll get more or less jump starts.
Forget about sparks: We all hate when the clamps of jumper cables touch and sparks appear. Yet this is not a problem with the GB150 because its Ultra Safe Technology gets rid of these.
Reverse Polarity Protection: No more wrong connections. The Noco Boost Pro will let you know if the connection is wrong so you can change the cables and do an effective jump start.
Lithium Powered: This is why these boosters are so small and so powerful. Also, this allows the unit to charge for 5 minutes and have enough charge for 1 jump start. This is not possible with lead-acid batteries.
500 Lumen Tactical flashlight: Stranded at night? No problem, because 500 Lumens are more than enough to have a clear view and connect your jump starter the right way to get back on the road as soon as possible.

😀
This device is insane . I have been using standard 50 pound jump starters for years and they usually , but not always , performed sufficiently , and not always reliably…
😡
I have a European shop, and have 5 Noco chargers for various reasons- they are solid, clean voltage. They don’t “cook” batteries like other trickle chargers do…
😀
The NOCO Boost Pro GB150 works like it says it does. I had a dead battery and it jump started my car 3x times on a single charge. I got the GB150 because…
how to jump start your car with the gb150 jump box
Here some things you want to know:
- As with jumper cables, the red clamp goes to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp goes to the negative (-) terminal or to an unpainted and metallic part of the body of your car like a screw.
- Once you push the On button, the charge LEDs will blink in a following pattern and the BOOST LED will turn on solid white to tell you it is time to start your engine.
But just in case things don’t flow as smooth for you, here are some tips.
error LED is RED OR BLINKS!
Either a solid red Error LED or a blinking one means something is wrong with the connection. Most common problem is a reversed connection, that is, you plugged the clamps to the wrong terminal. If this is the case the error LED will be solid red.
If you have a blinking pattern, it is worth checking the user manual to understand what is happening. You can find the user manual in another section of this post.
SO… THE ERROR LED IS NOT ON NOR BLINKING BUT CHARGE LEDS DON’T CHASE!
1st, check the voltmeter of the GB150. If it reads under 2V, then you have a flat dead battery and a force start needs to be done.
Notice that in some cases, even 6V or 8V may need a manual override.
So just remember to have a good connection here and then press and hold the manual override button for 3 seconds to activate the force start. Once this is done, the BOOST LED will blink indicating the force start function is active.
Remember this function deactivated protections, so be careful when using it.
Here a few videos to guide you in the process.

OTHER FEATURES TO CONSIDER BEFORE GETTING this jump starter
Force start function disables protection from Ultra Safe Technology: Be super cautious when using the manual override button since it deactivates protections and you could see some sparks if clamps touch each other.
Wall charger does not come inside the box: While you can use a spare brick charger you have at home, it is true the Noco GB150 does not come with a wall charger. If you have the money, then by all means get the XGC adapter for a fast charge.
No type-C USB: None of the ports to charge your electronics are USB-C compatible, so be sure to consider this when making your decision.
