ADVANTAGES of the noco gb250+
This is life saver: It is disappointing trying to start your car and discovering it wont. It is especially frustrating to discover this when you are at the middle of a road trip. The GB 250+ is the tool every truck driver wants to have at hand when this happens.
You get more than what you pay: This is a 1-time investment. If you think all the expenses a delay in delivery can cause, the price you pay for this booster is a true bargain. You get a tool that gets your truck back on the road in 30 seconds or less and helps you avoid fines and other inconveniences.
5250 Amps: This amount of amps are more than 10x the amount required to star an 8-cylinder gasoline car like a Dodge Ram. This is why the GB250 Noco jump starts big cargo vehicles.
Powerful Force Start function: Another very needed feature to get out of trouble when the battery is heavily discharged. If this is the case, most boosters don’t detect the battery, but a force start function pushes power through the battery to force the start. Many boosters don’t have this feature, but the Max GB250 has it.
Charge your electronics: The other side of this coin is a battery charger for small electronics like cameras, phones, drones, and all that is 5V.
USB A Ports: This is how you charge small electronics.
12V Cigarette adapter: Charge the GB250+ on the go and never run out of battery.
5 min for 1 effective jumpstart: Other boosters require 50% or 80% of charge to be used. The Noco 5250 Amp booster is ready to go with only 5 minutes of charge, to give you at least 1 effective jump start.
Rapid charging: This booster comes with the XGC power adapter to fully charge the unit in 8.5 hours when its internal battery is completely drained.
No Sparks protection safety feature: Sparks are the main reason why people hate to jump start a car. With this protection, you can be sure there will be no sparks when jump starting your vehicle, even if clamps touch each other.
No damaged electronics due to a reversed connection: Another danger of jump starting a car with cables is having a reversed connection and damaging the electronics of the vehicle. With the reverse polarity protection this will not be a problem any more, even for the inexperienced user.
Temperature protection for the internal battery: If the internal battery of the GB250 is too hot or too cold, the booster will notify you until the temperature is right and avoid damaging your unit and protect your investment.
Power management: Some boosters stay On after successfully jump starting a car and they get discharged over time. When you need them, the battery is depleted and they are useless. The GB250 5250 Amps comes with an auto shutdown mode that will turn off the booster 60 seconds after you pushed the On button. This way, it will save power and will be ready when you need it.
Engineered with Lithium battery: This is what allows the Noco Boost Max 250+ to be so portable and store so much power is so little space.
600 Lumen lamp: Another key feature if you happen to be at the middle of the road with no light and need to jump start your car. This lamp will help you ensure the connection is right so you get back in the road in no time.

COMMENTS from current customers
The GB250 Noco booster is engineered to satisfy the needs of those having small engine cars at home and driving big class 8 semi trucks (the 18-wheeler which are used to take cargo from place to place) for work.
People brag online about what their GB250 is capable of doing and here are some comments from current customers.

HOW TO USE THE gb250 noco – easy and intuitive
Here a few comments from my experience using these boosters:
- Get the clamps connected (Red → Battery Positive Terminal and Black Clamp → Battery Negative Terminal) and power on the jump starter.
- The Charge LEDs will chase and the BOOST LED turns solid white.
- Time to start your engine.
If this is the way it happened for you, consider yourself lucky, but… just in case you see some LEDs on, here is what I recommend.
WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ERROR LED IS TURNED ON?
This photo shows each LED function and what it means when one or more turn on or blinking. If this is your case, please refer to the manual of this unit, listed below in this post, to know more.
However, the most common error is a reverse polarity issue, that is, you got the terminals connected the wrong way. Simply correct it and you’re good to go.
AND IF NO ERROR LED IS ON OR BLINKING BUT STILL CAN’T JUMP START MY CAR?
Then chances are you need to use the manual override function to start the engine.
- Read the built-in voltmeter and see what it says. Sometimes even with 8 or 10 volts the battery needs the force start function to get started.
- Keep in mind that manual override disables safety features, so sparks could appear if the clamps touch each other.
- Ensure each clamp is firmly attached to the right terminal of the battery.
- Push the manual override button for about 3 seconds until you see the chasing pattern in the charge LEDs and the BOOST LED blinks on and off.
- Now start your car.
Now power off the jump box and disconnect the clamps. Check out these videos in case you need more of a visual instruction.
